My most memorable moment was the first day during orientation when they told us that half the things they were going to teach us in medical school were wrong. They just didn’t know which half. Over the ensuing half century, some of those wrong things have become evident. What highlights have you experienced since graduating in 1970? I chose a specialty in which I was never bored and never burned out. How have you changed since medical school? Somewhat wiser, much fatter. If so inclined, please feel free to share your passions, family stories, life experiences or even simple words of wisdom. If I hadn’t exercised a lot, I would probably been dead long ago.
